The Deep’s partnership with NOTCH goes from strength to strength with the addition of an ocean plastic bracelet to the collection. OceanYarn® NOTCH Bracelets will be launched for the first time and available for sale at The Deep from Good Friday.

Around 14 million tons of plastic ends up in the oceans every year, making up 80% of all marine debris from surface waters to deep-sea sediments. Threatening marine species through ingestion and entanglement, plastic pollution threatens food chains, human health and contributes to climate change. It's not however too late to make changes to clean our oceans.

Chris Healy, Cofounder at NOTCH stated “We’re really looking forward to having our exhibition stand at The Deep over the Easter weekend to engage with The Deep’s visitors and tell them about NOTCH achievement bracelets. The Deep is a charity working to protect the oceans and there couldn’t be a more perfect partner or venue to launch OceanYarn® NOTCH Bracelets”.

Using plastic waste that's collected from the sea, OceanYarn® NOTCH Bracelets are made entirely from recycled plastic that's been processed into high quality rope. The natural coloured bracelet features 100% recycled ocean plastic rope, with a marine blue aluminium clasp. Blending conservation, style, and durability to perfection.

Katy Duke, CEO at The Deep said “We are very proud to be a partner of NOTCH and to support this fantastic Hull based company. Developing our relationship further with the addition of the OceanYarn® bracelet aligns with The Deep’s plastics messaging and provides our visitors with an opportunity to show their support for our oceans. We are also delighted to be the first and only NOTCH stockist in Hull”.
